Tapia & Coello and Bea & Cláudia triumph in Málaga

The Premier Padel P1 Málaga came to a close this Sunday with two top-level finals that confirmed the dominance of some of the strongest pairings on the circuit. Both in the men’s and women’s draws, the winners showed consistency, confidence, and smart tactical execution.

Men’s Final: Tapia and Coello unstoppable

Arturo Coello (ESP) and Agustín Tapia (ARG) lifted yet another trophy, this time defeating Ale Galán (ESP) and Fede Chingotto (ARG) with a scoreline of 6-4, 7-5.

In a 1h16 match, the world number 1 duo controlled the key moments with their mix of power and precision. With this win, they now claim their 7th title of the season and reinforce their lead at the top of the rankings.

After the final, Tapia shared his emotions:

"I love this city… Thank you to everyone who works to make this the best week possible for us. And thanks to Arturo, as every week, for being by my side."

Coello also gave credit to their opponents:

"Congratulations to Fede and Ale for everything they put on the court… Winning is never easy, but we managed to do it again."

Women’s Final: González & Fernández shine at home

In the women’s final, the young Spanish duo Bea González and Claudia Fernández lived up to expectations with a solid 6-2, 6-1 win over Tamara Icardo and Marta Ortega, finishing in just 1h36.

Their convincing performance showed their technical superiority and growing maturity. For Bea, born in Málaga, this was an especially emotional win:

"I really wanted to do well here… It’s been a week full of emotions, sometimes hard to handle, so what I feel now is satisfaction for a job well done. I’m very happy."

Claudia dedicated the win to her partner:

"I dedicate this victory to Bea, who was born here, and I’m happy to have helped her win at home."
