The 10,000 category tournament organized by Padel Expo and ABC Tejo clubs, in collaboration with Expo Padel World, concluded last Sunday with the decisive matches.
Nearly 700 athletes graced the facilities of the two clubs, in an event that was a true celebration of the sport.
The main highlight of this Lisbon Challenger 2024 was the semi-finals and finals of M1 and F1 being held in the Sala Tejo of the Meo Arena, as part of the Expo Padel World program, the first padel fair held in our country.
The women's final saw Isa Dominguez and Catarina Santos face off against Cláudia Gaspar and Margarida Fernandes. The victory went to the former, with a score of 7-5 and 6-4, in a very balanced match. With this victory, Catarina Santos achieved her fifth title in 2024, the fourth in the 10,000 category.
In the men's final, the top two seeds of the tournament, Vasco Pascoal / António Luque and Miguel Deus / Nuno Deus, faced each other. The balance was even greater than in the women's final, requiring three sets to determine the trophy winner. The Deus brothers proved stronger, winning 5-7, 7-6, and 6-3, achieving their fifth title of the current season.
